Silly and Sweet

Her Chariot...

Our newest toy for us and Ellie, The Chariot. It hooks to our bikes and we can now ride to the Saturday Farmer's Market or down to Lucky 13 to sit outside for some sun and sandwiches. It works really well although neither of us has tried to ride up the hill with it yet.

A Day In The Life of Ellie

She likes to lounge with Dad on the couch and chat with him "Dadadada, babababa, mamama"

She plays with her toys and is starting to seem to prefer more complex toys (although putting any toy in her mouth and chewing it is the best)

Feeding herself is attempted at all meals with varying degrees of mess and success

She really likes playing the piano and is quite entertained when Mommy does

Her favorite time of the day before bath, "Nudie Time".

Dining

Dining out: a gourmet meal of MumMum crackers, sweet potatoes, brown rice, then potatoes and carrots from Mom's soup, then some tastes of the bread....She did really well at the restaurant.

Dining in: a gourmet meal of prunes, bananas and oatmeal. And no worry about the mess.

The changing faces of Eleanor

I am such as sweet girl.

I am boring a hole through the back of your head.

Visit with Great Grandpa

Ellie met her great-grandpa Butler for the first time. We traveled to Billings, Montana, to see him and her Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Robyn. Great-grandpa was singing her songs that his grandfather had sung to him and he made up lyrics just for Ellie.
She's wearing the Stunt Baby helmet to help the shape of the back of her head (one of the consequences of the "Back to Sleep" campaign)

Hiking Girl

We went on a hike one morning when my parents were here. Ellie liked being in the backpack and promptly fell asleep. She is heavier than I thought. We're in training for our Yosemite trip later this summer.
