May Day High Tea

I wore my grandmother's hat as ladies must wear hats for tea.

Tasty tea dainties: scones, chocolate bundt cake, cream puffs and lemon bars.

Margi took dressing for tea very seriously, down to her daughter's Cinderella gloves.

My Co-Host for the May Day Tea Party, my friend Amy Baruch. She and I had a blast coming up with the menu and cooking. We served: curried chicken salad sandwiches; open-faced roast-beef sandwiches; potato-onion frittata; cream puffs; chocolate bundt cake; lemon bars; and of course, scones.

I love that Margi wore the Cinderella gloves! She looks ready for high tea at the Brown Palace or the Peabody! And where did the butterfly dress come from? Is that grandma's. as well? I see a tea room in you and Amy's future alternative vocations...
